Simplicity Ultra Carbon is a sub-bituminous carbon that adsorbs dissolved organics and other pollutants and helps eliminate odors, discoloration, and haziness that diminish an aquarium’s overall health and appearance.

• How Much to Use: ½ cup per 25 gallons
• How to Use: Rinse in cold water before use to remove all dust. For best results, use a filter media reactor. The media should tumble gently in the reactor. If it tumbles too forcefully, it can break apart, and the resulting particles can be deadly to fish and corals. It also works well in a filter media bag in a high-flow area of the sump or filter.
• Recommended Replacement Schedule: As a general rule of thumb, we recommend running carbon for one week every month and replacing it with fresh carbon each time.
