Been using for years

I just had one of these die on me after 6 years in my sump. It failed in the off position and I have two in my tank so when my apex alerted me that my one heater was on way longer than it should be I checked it out. I'm replacing with the same because they are inexpensive, reliable and the best is they are not glass. I accidentally let one run in a completely dry container and after cleaning it up it worked just fine.
